Nature Journaling with Project Learning Tree
April 11 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
$10Bring the forest to your classroom – one journal page at a time!
Go hands-on with Project Learning Tree’s activities and resources through the practice of nature journaling.
PLT’s award-winning activities engage K–8 students in hands-on learning about trees, forests, and the broader environment—both inside the classroom and outdoors. In this extended workshop at the Myriad Botanical Gardens, educators will explore nature journaling as a tool for observation, inquiry, and reflection across science, ELA, art, and social studies. Participants will receive PLT’s Explore Your Environment K–8 guide and gain practical experience using it to support outdoor learning, interdisciplinary instruction, and standards-aligned teaching.
