You are cordially invited to join us for a Project WET: Water in Earth Systems workshop on Friday, December 5, from 1:00–4:00 p.m., at beautiful Lake Arcadia during the Blue Thumb Volunteer Conference. Get ready to make a splash in your teaching practice—and ripple inspiration through your students’ understanding of water, systems, and conservation. Please share this opportunity with your contacts and networks.
This half-day, hands-on session will immerse educators and volunteers in Project WET’s newest material, Water in Earth Systems curriculum, where every drop makes an impact around the world. You’ll explore how water moves through Earth’s spheres—atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere—and how human activity connects to each part of the system. Best of all, as this is a preview event for the next day’s volunteer conference—the workshop is entirely free!
What You’ll Experience
Whether you’re a formal educator, informal instructor, or Blue Thumb volunteer, this workshop is your chance to dive deeper into water education and surface with new tools, connections, and ideas that make science flow in your teaching.
