Teaching Sustainability in OklahomaJoin Project Learning Tree and EcoRise in person to learn all about our sustainability curriculum!

This workshop is FREE for K–12 educators.

Re-imagine your classroom as a laboratory for applied sustainability education! Explore how Project Learning Tree and EcoRise curriculum, resources, and EcoRise grant funds for student-driven projects can be used to increase student engagement and cultivate eco-literacy your campus and in your community. Through this interactive professional development, teachers will access the tools that they need to help their students evaluate sustainability issues related to water, food, air, energy, transportation, waste and public spaces.

8:30 – 9:30 Tulsa Parks Introduction by Kimberli Watson and Patrick Haze

9:35 – 11:10 Project Learning Tree – Anthony Pascall

11:30 – 1:05 EcoRise – T Larson

1:05 – 1:30 Wrap-up

Participating teachers will receive CPE and GT credit. Breakfast and coffee will be provided. The first 20 teachers to attend will have a chance at winning door prizes.
