Poultry Tester Registration

The classes are for individuals 16 years of age and older that wish to test poultry for Pullorum/Typhoid for National Poultry Improvement Plan participation and to enter poultry shows and/or fairs. This year, we are certifying testers again to be able to process Avian Influenza Swabs and how to submit them to the appropriate lab for testing.

Things to note before you attend the course:

• The class fee is $5.00 and the tester’s certificate is $30.00 for a three-year certificate.

• Please bring a check for $35.00 or have exact change when you come to the class as there will be no cashier at these classes.

• There will be an application form at the class for you to complete, sign, and date.
  • *FOR BIOSECURITY REASONS — NO ONE WILL BRING LIVE BIRDS — WE WILL HAVE OTHER MEANS OF TRAINING AVAILABLE*

• No supplies will be provided at these classes; however, Supply Order Forms will be available.
